The MARIAN C-Box series is especially designed for logging purposes. The C-Box 64 is a 64 channel audio interface that can capture audio signals in the range 300 Hz to 4 kHz with a sampling rate of 8 kHz. RJ45 connectors for the analogue signals, galvanic decoupling with transformers, low cut filter, individual impedance switches, self-test mode, remote gain control - with all these features and parameters the C-Boxes consider the special requirements in the operation field of logging.
The analogue signals are digitized and transmitted to a single PCIe 1x card – the “C-Box PCIe 128” – via fibre optic cables. This PCIe card is capable of taking up to four 64 channel units or up to two 64 channel units or any mix of them to allow a single PC to record 128 channels. Since multiple “C-Box PCIe 128” can be installed within one system, a multiply of 128 channels can be recorded – depending on the number of PCIe slots and the overall performance of the computer system.
Anything does not match with you special requirements? – We are able to customize the C-Box according your needs.
The C-Box 64 comes with a complete driver package for Windows™ 2000/XP/2003 Server/Vista/2008 Server and Windows™ 7. That package supports all common audio streaming APIs like WDM Audio, DirectSound MME, ASIO 2.1.
To get the best functionality and performance we also supply our own special Audio Streaming API called MASIAS. It is optimized in its work with MARIAN Sound Systems and allows the application software engineer a much easier and less complex implementation than via other APIs. This decreases development costs and ensure much more stable and reliable operation.
