Marian audio systems are Made in Germany quality products with a number of important and useful features, that reach
beyond providing inputs and outputs only, thus really enabling the usage in the professional field.
This includes smart synchronization- and routing possibilities, as well as the highly optimized driver design.
The following list outlines the technologies, features and products available.
Heavenly Sound − Beastly Power
The core of every SERAPH soundsystem houses, what we call, "the beast": An insanely powerful DSP that will run and also process legions of audio channels through
the computer but with no additional CPU load. Multi-track recording AND simultaneous latency-free mixing with professional features like Phase, Pre/Post Aux,
Mute, Solo, Pre/Post Level have finally found the perfect ergonomic harmony - inside the BEAST DSP Mixer. Its 32 bit channel resolution and a high-precision
52 bit mixing engine with up to 24dB headroom retain even the most detailed aspects of every precious audio signal. But in case any of the 64 channels should
require a little amelioration or correction, we have included up to 256 analog-feel full-parametric EQs inside a highly sophisticated signal routing.
This routing, besides distributing audio signals to different physical and virtual ports, allows independent activation of a channels EQ for each mixing sum separately.
As an example: it is possible to activate the EQ of a channel only on the main mix, but leave it unheard on an aux sum for a truly independent musicians headphone mix.
Finally, it supports also the so called re-recording by feeding back playback and mix signals to an audio application.

latency-free for professional recording and real-life monitoring.
Clock Management -A flexible system
All of the amazing functions of the BEAST DSP as well as all the digital connections and AD/DA converters a MARIAN sound card may have,
are governed by a precise ultra low jitter clock. Even when clocked externally, the entire system will retain its internal precision since
the clock is always re-covered and re-freshed. For external sync besides the digital inputs, each SERAPH sound system is available as "MWX"
version offering MIDI connections as well as word clock and super clock inputs for absolute clock-flexibility inside a modern digital audio studio.
TDM SyncBus -An adaptable system
After successfully introducing the revolutionary "TDM SyncBus" for the first time in the TRACE sound card series, we have quickly decided to endow also the
SERAPH sound systems with this unique and powerful tool. The TDM SyncBus combines up to 4 SERAPH or TRACE cards in one computer, allowing them to share in- and
outputs and audio streams and ensuring perfect clock- and start/stop synchronization. Since it is available for all MARIAN sound systems, the TDM SyncBus is
one of the keys to make a MARIAN sound card a long term investment: In case the studio setup requires an upgrade, new sound cards can easily be added without
making the old ones obsolete.
Advanced software technologies −The door to performance
Refined over years, the driver of all of our sound systems profits from an optimizing process that has started as early as with Windows 3.1 and reaches up to the
most modern 64bit operating systems on various platforms. This consequently highly advanced software does not only offer various audio interfaces such as
ASIO, MME, Multichannel WDM Audio / WASAPI with rock-solid transfer and the lowest possible latencies but also a versatile manager application. It allows simple access, configuration and
optimization of all the parameters of the specific sound system as well as control over the integrated mixing, routing and sound manipulation features.
All of these features are being explained individually in a documentation available in german and english language. Using everyday examples, the manual
furthermore explains how to successfully manage common sound engineering tasks in the studio.
